Frank L. Packard was born in Montreal, Quebec and educated at McGill University and the University of Liège. As a young man he worked as a civil engineer for the Canadian Pacific Railway. His experiences working on the railroad led to his writing many railroad stories. This is one of them. 304 pages. Blue covers with gold printing on front cover and spine. Spine tips are bumped and slightly torn. Corners are bumped. Previous owner's name on half title page Half title page has a 2 inch tear at bottom seam. Small worm hole visible.
