About This Item

1990. Fraenkel, Osmond K. The Sacco-Vanzetti Case. New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1931. Reprint. [Birmingham, [Ala.]: The Notable Trials Library, 1990]. Introduction by Alan M. Dershowitz. xv, 550, xv pp. Illustration. Quarter calf over cloth, decorative gilt stamping, raised bands, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, ribbon marker. Fine. $25. * "As a digest, the book presents in bold relief the legal questions involved, as well as the background and perspective of the controversies that did not die with Sacco and Vanzetti, all in such an accessible form that the student need not peruse the original record, unless he has a passion for 'original sources.'": Marke, A Catalogue of the Law Collection at New York University (1953) 1002.
