Horsley also illustrate; 9 engravings from original designs by Samuel Palmer, 7 by Birket Foster; the engravers include Dalziel, E. Evans, W.T. Green and H. Harral. Nineteenth-century binding by Rivière of full black pebbled morocco with raised bands, ornate gilt spine, ornate gilt borders on both covers, inner gilt dentelles. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Covers a little rubbed at hinges and edges. Occasional light spotting. Very good.
