New York: Harper Collins (Buffalo Medicine Press), 1993. First edition. Hardcover. Very good/near fine. SIGNED. 305pp. Octavo [24 cm] 1/2 white cloth over rust-colored boards. The foot of the spine is bruised, and there are a couple of minor stains to the top edge of the text block. In a dust jacket, with only minor edge wear. The eleventh in the Leaphorn and Chee series. Signed by Hillerman on the title page. Contains an original Ernest Franklin illustration in full color on the tipped-in half-title, signed at the foot. The Hillerman/Franklin limited editions produced by Buffalo Medicine Press were done in small numbers and every book has a different original piece of artwork drawn or water-colored into the book itself.
