London: Printed for A. Bettesworth, and J. Batley, W. Mears, and J. Hooke, 1726. Contemporary Calf, Blind Stamped Cambridge Panel boards, in exceptional state with Edge Decorated Gold Gilt motif. A Fine, sympathetic reback retaining pastedowns and endpapers, ensures readability of this volume, with sewn binding extremely tight. Collated, Complete, including the four-page catalog, "BOOKS Printed for W. Mears...and J. Hooke..." with gatherings A2, O placed before signature A. All Three Original Plates present as called for, as are all other interspersed illustrations and diagrams. As above, contemporary pastedowns with Original Terminal Leaf. Internally, some light signs of sporadic age, corner tear to one page with partial text loss, otherwise no issues with all margins full, untrimmed. Remarkably, No Previous Owners to Rubricated Title, nor anywhere else within. VeryGood+ Antiquarian condition.. The Fourth Edition, with Additions.. Very Good+. Illus. by William Faithorne. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
