London: Printed for A.L., and Sold by Roger Tucker, at the Golden Leg, the corner of Salisbury-Street, in the Strand., 1700. Early 20th Century Hand-bound Rebind, in Brick Red Buckram, with Gold Gilt title. Spine rounded, fore edge concave. Previous owner recto Frontis., another p/o on original ffep. marked out. Samuel 28 quote in an old hand (as per Faithorne Frontispiece Engraving), to verso ffep. The well known six compartmented "Saducismus Triumphatus." engraving proceeds the the first part, with an additional plate (not called for), tipped in proceeding "The second Part." (see scans). "A Whip for the Droll,..." (Drollery and Atheism), mis-paginated 23-25/37-39 (signature Hh), as always, but complete without textual loss. Terminal page (Hh2), laid down on what appears to be the original end paper with top edge, corner chip. Wanting signature Ii, "Swedish Witches" (16pp) as bound. Very readable, VeryGood Antiquarian condition. [Wing2 G826, ESTC: R218314, Coumont G38.9].. The Third Edition with Additions.. Hard Cover, Buckram, Sewn. Very Good. Illus. by William Faithorne. Small 8vo - over 7½" tall.
