A fair only copy, with stains on the boards and endpapers, front hinge restored, lacking the dustwrapper. Inscribed by the author to Toscanini: "To Arturo Toscanini, An outstanding artist of our time who like a championship boxer has a great "pair of hands" and has contributed in a major way to the "saga" of music.
