Amsterdam: David Martin, 1707. First edition. French. Hardcover. Folio, iii, 397 p. (pag. rh only; therefore 16, 794 p.). This first volume of La Sainte Bible qui contient le Vieux et Le Nouveau Testament, commonly called Mortier's Bible, after the name of the printer, is in a good condition. The volume is tightly bound with some tearing of the latter vellum and noticeable discoloration. The text and beautiful engravings remain in excellent condition. Few pages are loose and torn but most have sustained foxing around the edges. This two volume set was created by David Martin [1639 - 1721], was a learned French Protestant theologian. Heavy extra postage at cost. Heavy requires more postage.

Amsterdam: David Martin, 1707. First edition. French. Hardcover. Folio, 423, [9], 65 p. (pag. rh only; therefore 826, [9] 130 p.). This second volume of La Sainte Bible qui contient le Vieux et Le Nouveau Testament, commonly called Mortier's Bible, after the name of the printer, is in a very good condition.
