Salem: Henry Whipple & Son, Publishers. Damrell & Moore, Printers, Boston, 1857. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. 16mo. [1], 252 pages, [76] pages of advertisements. Illustrated. Folding frontispiece map. Brown cloth hardcover with gilt title on the spine. Crude repairs made to the front cover and spine. Spine glued, hinges appeared to be glued as well. Lean to the binding. Corners bumped. Cloth is chipped on the spine edge rear cover. Rear cover slightly loose. The title page is partly stuck to the map. The folding map, however, is in very good condition with no tears, chips, or stains. Front and rear end sheets are advertisements. A fair copy only.
