N.Y.: Frederick A. Stokes, 1936 Hard Cover. 6 1/4 x 4 3/4. 90 pp. Subtitled: A New Adventure of Little Black Sambo. This well loved, well read little book has a red cloth cover that shows signs of soiling and has several faint penci l marks. The cover also has corner bumps and some staining to the bottom edge of front and back covers. The top half of spine has torn but is still present. The front endpapers have evidence of pencil doodling but this has been erased. Former owner's name on free endpaper. Finger wrinkling and min. smudges on pages throughout book but text is tight .and unmarked by pen, stains, or pencil. Three pa ges have minor tears mended by tape but this is barely noticable. Although the cover is not in wonderful shape the text is quite good for a children's book of this age..
