A booster publication for the growing city of San Diego, the current copy is an early issue of a publication that was continued through to 1915 (The Huntington Library has a copy with the "Seal of Panama-California Exposition, San Diego, 1915, on front cover". The front cover of the current copy shows the elegant city and harbour seen through the city gates with figures in the garb of the ancient world holding the tools of the building trades on either side of the gates. There are several references to 1908, and statistics such as building permits are given through January1 to October 1 of 1908. Much detailed information on the development of the city, and also an extensive section on "County towns and surroundings." The back cover features a map showing "San Diego's Advantageous Location." An early and uncommon issue. .
