Two sheets of publisher's prospectuses laid in. Personally inscribed by the illustrator Jose Cisneros on the half title page. A building restoration led to the book research into the San Elizario, Texas, the original county seat of El Paso County in a region claimed by Don Juan de Onate in 1598 and settled by the Spanish in the late 1700s. ; B&W Illustrations; 10 1/4" x 10 1/4"; 86 pp; Signed by Illustrator .
