Flyleaf missing but still a blank sheet at front. Owners signature crossed out at top of front pastedown in felt pen. A little wear at spine ends and corners. Text clean bright and tight. Good to Fair condition.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

First Edition.<br/><br/> The dust wrapper shows some edge-wear, particularly at the top of the spine, with no loss of text, ownership signature, otherwise an excellent copy of an early Anderson book, the basis for two films.<br/><br/>

(No Place): American Broadcasting Company, 1952. Softcover. Near Fine. First edition thus. Television adaptation by Alan Hackett. Mimeographed sheets stapled and bound into stiff printed wrappers. Text of the play issued as a complimentary gift to coincide with the Celanese Theatre production on ABC television on March 19, 1952. First page pulled a little from the staples, still tight and near fine. Apparently there were sixteen plays produced in this series between 1952-3, we've seen others but don't know if they were all issued in this format.

New York, et al: Longmans, Green and Co., 1927. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Cloth-backed paper over boards. From the library of Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., with his bookplate (and a nice bookseller's ticket!) on the front paste-down. Inscribed to him "from a couple of other guys / Vienna 1901" on the FFEP. Fairbanks (1909-2000) was an American actor (his credits include “Gunga Din”) and a highly decorated naval officer of World War II.
