The Fanfrolico Press, UK, 1928. Limited Edition. Hardcover (Full Leather). Good Condition. Illustrator: Norman Lindsay. Contains the poetry of McCrae , 35 full page plates and 10 vignettes by Lindsay. Bound in green pebbled full-stained sheepksin with a shagreen (rough un-tanned) finish, with a gilt design to the cover, the top edge is gilt. General shelfwear to the covers. The embossed Pan image to the front is a little worn away. titling to spine a little worn but legible. Deckled edge pages are darkened. The interior is very clean. A hand-written laid in poem "Down the Dim Years" by McCrae covers a short poem to Jack Lindsay on the page prior to the contents page. A little unusual, it is slightly torn at the edge, There are no previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. There are no missing, loose, creased, stained or damaged pages. The spine and binding are solid. Printed in Baskerville 14 point type on Barcham's Green handmade paper. The book is complete and original Number 244 / 550 Size: Large 8vo ( 9 to 11 inches).
