Bound in green pebbled full-stained sheepksin with a shagreen (rough un-tanned) finish, with a gilt design to the cover, the top edge is gilt. General shelfwear to the covers. The embossed Pan image to the front is a little worn away. titling to spine a little worn but legible. Deckled edge pages are darkened. The interior is very clean. A hand-written laid in poem "Down the Dim Years" by McCrae covers a short poem to Jack Lindsay on the page prior to the contents page. A little unusual, it is slightly torn at the edge, There are no previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. There are no missing, loose, creased, stained or damaged pages.
