Condition: Fine/Fine

Fine Clean Hardcover Fine Collectible Dust Jacket NOT Price snipped NOT a library copy. Clean 482 pp. Alan Lee First American Edition HAD 10987654321 No writing no marks. A little dust perhaps at top of book else Fine book and jacket and unread. Perhaps the most gripping is Numenor 'The Drowning of Anadune' Color plates by Alan Lee. Ian Ballantine brought Alan Lee into our Three Geese In Flight Bookshop in Woodstock New York to introduce us in the early Eighties I believe.Wonderful talented man but his work was and is too dreary for Tolkien. I still believe that but I held my tongue until now when it is too late too hurt anyone's feelings. Ian Ballantine was a true Hobbit and most likely a 'Took'. Very nice First Edition Copy. Photos soon and on request
