Schreib Lese Fibel

Schreib Lese Fibel

Condition: Good+/no Jacket

St. Louis, Missouri: Eden Publishing House, 1885. The complete title: "Schreib=Lese=Fibel mit besonderer Beruecksichtigung der Lautiermethode". Illustrated with wood cuts prints on pages 2 -34. Published by the "Deutsche Evangelische Synod of Nord Amerika" (German Evangelical Synode of North America). Das Alphabet in Sütterlin (Old German) and Fraktur. Addresses pronounciation and syllable division. Brown boards, black decorations and lettering, mostly clean, a little shelf-wear to extremities. Textblock pages [92] mostly clean [some pages with age spots], unmarked, with no serious weaknesses to binding [fore-edge seam split]. Endpaper and fep with pencilled name of previous owner, which appears to be a practice of his/her name in the style of lettering demonstrated in the book. I have left it as is but it is erasable. I have also left a 4-leaf clover pressed between pages 52 & 53. Media Mail, Priority & some International shipping include free tracking information.. First Edition. Cloth. Good+/no Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
