James Henry Wiggin was co-author of Science and Health); "Christian Healing"; "The People’s Idea Of God"; "Pulpit And Press"; "Christian Science vs. Pantheism"; "Message To The Mother Church, 1900"; "Message To The Mother Church, 1901"; and "Message To The Mother Church, 1902," all bound together with original prelims and title pages into a single volume. A formidable volume, 1,968 pages in length and 2 1/4" thick. Very Good Plus, binding tight and sound, leather shiny and supple, no bumps, no cracks, no chips, no scrapes, no tears, with the three original black silk marker ribbons, one loose, the others still firmly attached. All gilding brilliant. There is scattered underlining in black ink affecting a total of 40 leaves of text. A significant and revealing archive of early Christian Science and its enigmatic founder.
