Frontispiece photogravure portrait plate of Mrs. Eddy, plus a plate of the newly constructed Mother Church in Boston opposite "Christian Healing." A formidable volume, 1,968 pages in length and 2 1/4" thick, printed on onionskin paper. Very Good Plus, binding tight, sound, and square, leather supple, with sheen preserved, no bumps, no cracks, no chips, no scrapes, no tears, with the three original black silk marker ribbons present, one loose, the others still firmly attached. All gilding brilliant. There is some underlining in black ink (examples shown) on 40 leaves of text scattered at random throughout the volume. A substantial archive of early Christian Science and its enigmatic founder.
