Re-told by the author the story of Captain Scott's race against Amundsen to the South Pole and the tragic sequel. 48 pages illustrated with 37original black and white photographs taken by H G Ponting and a map. Book in very good+ condition with light tanning. Dust jacket in good condition with five small tears on front, two small pieces missing on back and some knocks and chips.
