Blue buckram hardcover over plastic comb binding, black and white spine and cover titles and graphics, 19.2 by 26.5 cm, 60 pp. including twenty-two 14 by 11 cm wool samples. Very good with only faint rubbing at the corners. After a ten-page introduction on the history of the Scottish woolen industry, this volume includes 22 wool samples, including a description, history, and weave plan for each sample. The swatches include Thornproof Suiting, Bannockburn Suiting, Lightweight Shetland Cloth, Sports Jacketing, Skirt Cloth, Tartan, Ladies' Dress Cloth, Cheviot Overcoating, Ladies' Novelty Tweed, Tie Cloth, etc.
