Boston, MA: Houghton Mifflin, 1921. Ex Navy library with two markings, a stamp (Control Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet) on the ffep and an altered Dewey Decimal number on the spine. Edges are worn with board exposure at the tips and the spine ends are quite worn with fraying and small tears and serious degradation of the cloth for the top 1/4 inch. Maps intact at the back of book. Hinges cracked front and back, however still well-held together. Cover smudges and handling marks, some small light damp stains. A few very small page stains and modest edge soil. Former owner's name in ink on the ffep. Gilt spine titles barely legible. . Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Tall, 334 Pages.
