Although Clymer is best known for her many works of fiction for children, she also wrote a number of works about science for children. In this book, she presents the story of the Coelacanth, a fish thought to be extinct for 30 million years until a live specimen was discovered in 1938. Books is in Very Good Condition: cover is lightly soiled; pages are clean and tight.
