Chicago.: Sears, Roebuck and Company.. 1933.. Illustrated booklet, 7 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches, 16 numbered pages, with folding panel at center depicting, through cut-out image in the foreground, the Sears Building at the 1933 Century of Progress with an aerial view of the fairgrounds in the background. A history of the firm is developed in the text of the pamphlet, with much attention given to Julius Rosenwald, whose career with the company began in the late 19th century and continued until his death in 1932, having risen over the years to become the firm's Chairman of the Board. Light top to bottom fold at middle of booklet, and abrasion to rear cover, evidently a consequence of being pasted into, and then removed from, a souvenir album. An uncommon item; only five WorldCat listings. .
