The Secret of Chimneys is a thrilling murder mystery novel, taking place at a house party at Chimneys. This novel introduces Superintendent Battle and Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent.Written by prolific detective novelist Agatha Christie. A 1930 reprint of this work, originally published in 1925. Part of the series 'The Bodley Head Mysteries'. Two pages of adverts to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with some fading to the spine and light shelf wear to the boards. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. A few spots to the fore-edge, and the odd spot throughout, otherwise pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Synopsis

The Secret of Chimneys is a work of detective fiction by Agatha Christie and first published in the UK by The Bodley Head in June 1925 and in the US by Dodd, Mead and Company later in the same year. It introduces the characters of, among others, Superintendent Battle and Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent. The UK edition retailed at seven shillings and sixpence (7/6) and the US edition at $2.00.
