About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1949. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Brown paper over boards, pictorial dust jacket. vii, 214pp. Frontispiece, pictorial endpapers. Very good/fair. Jacket edgeworn, scuffed and rubbed, with couple of archivally closed (on verso) tears and large chips at head and tail of spine -- nevertheless, it's complete and fairly attractive. Tight, fairly nice early printing of the first volume in the 18-volume "Ken Holt Mystery" series, with this and the second title listed on both front jacket flap and inner flyleaf list. Rather uncommon.
