His poetry can be dense but this collection is lighter. Introduced by G. M. Young as part of the Golden Treasury Series from Macmillan. This selection was originally published in 1940. In 1950 it was first printed in the Golden Treasury Series and this is the eleventh printing. Blue cloth binding with gold illustration on front board and gold lettering on spine. Binding tight and square, clean and bright; a bit of residue on front free end page due to a label removal and a bit of separation at hinge facing title page. No possibility of separation. Unclipped dust jacket is bright and clean with minor wear and chipping at top and bottom of spine and extremities. 16 mo (5.75 to 6.75 inches) 204 pages including index.
