Armorial bookplate of Robert Bruce Aeneas Macleod, Cadboll, Invergordon Castle 1877 front paste downs. Complete with 16 plates engraved by Francesco Bartolozzi, James Fittler, and Sharp. Includes Chetwood's Life of Virgil; (v. 1, p. [xiii]-liv) originally prefixed to Dryden's Works of Virgil (1697) and here ascribed to William Walsh. The set Very Good, the calf showing light wear, small chip to calf head of Vol. I, the interiors clean and lovely, a SCARCE work, and particularly in such lovely condition. . New Edition. Full Calf. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
