Providence: Providence Press, 1903. Original cloth (hinges cracked but still pretty tight), 543 pp., illus., folding maps. Frontis of Col. Zenas R. Bliss. The 7th R.I. was at Fredericksburg, slogged through the Mississippi Campaign, Vicksburg Seige, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, & others including Appomattox. Bliss was a career army officer in Texas before & after the war, & won the Medal of Honor during the war. Important regimental history.. 1st.. Cloth. Very Good.
