Portland, Maine: The Bradford Press, 1938. First edition of this collection of fifteenth and sixteenth century woodcuts depicting Old Testament stories. Externally worn but internally very good. Large book (12.75" tall) in red cloth, 161 pages. Ex-library, with spine number, bookplate, patron's pocket and tiny numbers on title page, no library markings within. Covers rubbed, with light fraying to the corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, very clean pages free from names or other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No. Folio - 12" - 15" Tall.
