About This Item

Don Millls, Ontario: Stoddart, 1983. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. Brown cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine. 184 p.p. Some light wear to spine ends, corners, tail edge, and rear board. Light foxing to edges of text block. Dust jacket has a few stains and spots of light soiling, some bumping to spine ends. With an intense and brooding style that prompted comparisons to Bronte's Wuthering Heights, In the Shadow of the Wind was a runaway betseller in Quebec and also in France, where it won the Prix Femina for 1982.
