Sault Ste Marie: Sault Star Publishing. Good+. 1975. Fifth Printing. Softcover. Kirkwood Township is in Ontario, Canada. The author provides a detailed look at lumbering in this part of Ontario and the text is illustrated with interesting photos from the lumbering era. The top corner is cut from rear end blank end paper (probably to remove an owner name at some time). Also, one interior photo has coffee ring on it and there is rippling to the bottom portion of about 50 pages. Covers are the original stiff wrappers decorated to represent wood grain with green lettering and illustration of a log sled on the front wrapper. First printing was in 1966. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 134 pages .
