Philadelphia: Chilton, 1959. First edition. Hardcover. Fine/good. First edition (stated). Inscribed to a military museum library and dated December 1960 by the author on the front flyleaf. xxxi+ 259 pp. with index. One map only at the beginning of the main text. Fine in edgeworn dust jacket with spine sticker from the aforementioned institution. Study of the Battle of Gettysburg that details the massive movements on both sides of flaming battlefronts while also making room for vignettes that bring to life the individual actors in this stirring drams. This copy deaccessioned by a well-known institution founded in 1862 as a patriotic organization and in still in existance today as a private club. Our letter detailing this will be included. No stampings or markings in this copy (only on the jacket spine as noted above) and with the institutions bookplate on the front pastedown.
