Scarce signed etching from a watercolour painted by Paul Emile Lecomte (1877-1950). Under glass in a gilt frame. Signed in pencil to lower right. In excellent condition. Numbered. Born in Paris, Lecomte was the son of renowned landscape painter Paul Lecomte. Paul Emile studied at the École des Beaux-Arts under portraitist and history painter Fernand Cormon; his works were often featured in prestigious galleries like the Paris Salon.
