Black blind stamped cloth binding with silver St. John Ambulance Association logo to front board. Inked note to inner margin of one page, otherwise in very clean condition throughout. Fold-out illustration of the skeleton. Originally published as 'Aids for Cases of Injuries' in 1878, shortly after the Association was founded. This is the first edition under the 'First Aid to the Injured' title. This name and format remained in print (with regular updates) for over 80 years. This new edition was issued the same year as the St. John Ambulance Brigade were introduced. Rare. Overall condition is Very Good. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
