T. Nelson & Sons, 1887. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1887. No edition stated. 167 pages. No dust jacket. Blue illustrated cloth with gilt titles and decoration to front and spine. All text block edges gilt. Illustrated by Birket Foster. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper, pastedown, pre-title page and title page. Occasional small stains. Very slight gutter cracking. Boards have some edge wear, with pronounced bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Heavy water stains overall with red marks and other stains too. Gilt is reasonably bright.
