(London, Herbert Jenkins, no date). Pictorial dustwrapper, frayed, original cloth, pp. 144, text-illustrations, colour frontispiece, a few plates. Book-plate of Jack Vincent on the front pastedown endpaper, text lightly-browned (war economy paper-stock), edges a little foxed. 'This book deals with the subject of small-game shooting in this country. Walking, driving, shore shooting are all discussed seriatim; the author combining his precepts with anecdotes and incidents collected from the experiences of many years sport with the gun. Of the seventeen chapters, seven are devoted to game shooting and kindred matters, and the same number to wildfowl and shore-shooting. Learning to shoot, the care of guns, and bird-collecting claim a chapter each.' .
