Whitcombe & Tombs, George Allen and Unwin, 1935. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1935. Fifth Edition. 289 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be loose. Previous owner's inscription to half-title and title page. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Mild tanning to spine and edges. White mark to front board.
