Very Good. 28pp; centerspread from 15 snapshots of Shorty, the Santa Fe Rangers, Santa Fe Ranch, etc.; full-page photo portraits of Dolly Dimples (inside back cover) and Dolly with Shorty (back cover) as "Sweethearts of Santa Fe Ranch." Contains words and music to 12 songs, including: Good Night Cincinnati and Good Morning, Tennessee; Signed, Sealed and Delivered; Cry Baby Blues; No Wars in Heaven; Tennessee Yodel Polka; &c. Green and white pictorial wrappers; prior owner's name on cover. 11.75" x 9" Shorty Long was born Emidio Vagnoni in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1923. "He spent years in Santa Fe as the leader of the Santa Fe Rangers, which appeared in the 1948 movie Powder River Gunfire. As a vocalist in the 1940s, Long recorded many singles, and in the 1950s he can be heard playing the piano behind Elvis Presley on such songs as 'One-Sided Love Affair.' He also played on Janis Martin's 1956 rockabilly hit 'My Boy Elvis'...." [courtesy of Masterworks Broadway].
