Horrocks called 50 Div 'the most experienced battle-fighting division in the British Army'; its 'Tyne Tees' badge became a watchword from France to Sicily and onward through North-West Europe. This detailed account covers Sicily and NW Europe with numerous appendices listing OOB, ROH, awards and much other useful data. A valuable complement to Clay's standard history of 1950. Very scarce.
