About This Item

unbound. very good(+). Excellent signed fantasy-concept drawing "O. Hereford", depicting a fairy casting sleep dust upon a resting mouse who is curled up in a flower - while being serenaded by musical frogs, one playing an upright bass, the other a flute. The drawing is executed in pencil, ca 1890's, 6 ½"X 9", with a short inscription below the drawing "From The Gray Explorer - O.H." Evenly toned with minor fraying at the lower margin, otherwise in very good condition.<br/><br/> American writer and illustrator often called "The American Oscar Wilde."<br/><br/>
