About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1954. Later Printing . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a small price inked in the top right hand corner of the free front page, but no other marks or wear. The beige tweed covers are fresh, with just a bit of darkening to the spine. The dust jacket is not corner clipped and is also in very good condition with light edge wear and handling. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: A small plane crash-landds near Sergeant Peter Thorne's cabin in the Canadian north, and he and Silver Chief go to the rescue. They "found not only a wrecked plane with a murdered pilot ... but two brutal adversaries and a vicious do, Chelkar, who left the gallant Mountie and his canine side-kick for dead.
