Description:
Ticknor & Fields, 1986. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 8x5x1. Signed by Author(s). First edition with full number line, inscribed by Benjamin Hoff to previous owners on half-title page. Hardcover, green cloth spine over blue paper-covered boards, 8-1/4" tall, 367 pp. Moderate toning to spine and edges of dust jacket, original price intact. Opal Whiteley's writings have a strong influence in the "weirdness" of Pacific Northwest literature--her imagination might be considered a mental illness by some, and insight by others. A lovely, copy signed by Hoff who is best known for his Tao of Pooh.
