Binding tight and sturdy, pages tanned but clean, text very good, deckle edge, top edge inked. Spine is deeply tanned, boards faded with a hint of soiling and bumping. No DJ (perhaps as issued). Lewis was leader of the United Mine Workers from 1920-1960. From a personal collection: NOT ex-lib. Ships from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
