Description:
New York: Scribner', 1926. Cloth. Very Good/Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Early printing seldom seen with the dust jacket. A few small chips in the dj cloth book is still bright blue with no flaws of any kind. His meditations were intended to be daily thoughts regarding peaceful living, the role of poetry, music, and the arts as well as how to honor Lincoln's birthday and other issues of the time. One of the famous eloquent preachers whose thoughts reflect an era of optimism just a few short years before the Great Depression. These insightful ideas are useful for today. One could only wish present day leaders had read and lived by these truths.
