Besides the six photographs of officers in the Rangers, there is also one of Dallas Stoudenmire. Besides talking about the requirements of becoming a Ranger, there is much about the Indian wars closing with Victorio and the Apaches but also covers the Mason County War, the Horrell-Higgins feud, Sam Bass and the issues of raids from Mexico. Bound in green cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt. A very bright copy with light edge wear, previous owner's name, else a near fine copy. [Adams 150 #62].
