Published by the Government Printing Office in Washington. This is ex-library; however, the only marks are on the first blank page. No pockets, stamps or call numbers anywhere. Original binding. Size is approximately 8 by 11 1/2 inches. There are 570 numbered pages. Binding is sound, but loose. No detached material. Several remarkable maps. The large pocket map of the United States is present. Good, with only a few small fold tears. A whole group of interesting plates near the back on leaf structures. The text is free of musty odors. No water stains. Covers are soiled, as pictured, and a little worn. Corners bumped and worn. Still, a nice copy of this scarce book
