London.: Illustrated London News.. 1886-1890.. Group of TWO SHEETS from The Illustrated London News, black and white wood engravings on sheets 16 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches. A couple of tiny foxing spots in margin of full page image, both very good condition. One page (November 1, 1890) has a full page illustration by Louis Wain with likenesses of twelve cats from the Crystal Palace Cat Show identified by name and owner. The other page (October 30, 1886) has two half page illustrations (artist not identified): one illustrating and naming six cats; the other "The Dog Show at the Royal Aquarium" illustrating and naming nine dogs. .
