Good, contemporary speckled calf leather binding with moderate handling/rub marks to boards and spine, moderate loss to spine tips/tops and board corners, abrasions to parts of boards, previous owner name in ink on title page of all Volumes, little ink note and pencil note front pastedown Volume 1, slightly sunned pages, gilt board edge dentelles, previous owner initials in ink on contents page Volume 2, some handling marks to text block edges, binding a bit shaky but intact, cracked and some starting hinges, without Dust wrapper. Overall in good antiquarian condition. A nice set. 8vo[octavo or approx. 6 x 9 inches].
