Illustrated with engraved portraits of Queen Caroline (frontispiece) and Bergami, and a large hand coloured folding plate showing a depiction of the Lords at the trial with a legend of the individuals present. One page with a small hole to the middle of the leaf and some offsetting to the two portrait engravings otherwise a very good copy in an attractive early fine leather binding of full mid brown calf. Both boards elaborately decorated with blind tooled multiple oval design panel within twelve ruled line border. An arc and star gilt roll has been tooled around the outside of the boards. A fine bright copy which is a beautifully produced facsimile of the famous Kelmscott Press edition of 1893. Finely hound bound in full white limp vellum, lettered in gilt. Green silk ties which were specially woven for this edition by H. Caldicott of London. With a short booklet about the 1893 edition, again limited, numbered and this initialled by Harold Smith and Ridley Burnett. Grey paper wraps with silk tie to the hinge. The two volumes are Housed in the publishers original grey paper covered slip case. A beautiful facsimile of a beautiful edition of Shakespeare's Poems in fine condition.
