London: Wishart & Company, 1931. Second Impression. Very Good/Very Good. First edition, second printing. Signed by Jack B. Yeats and inscribed to a former owner in Dublin. Very Good with cloth sunned at spine and edges. Previous owner bookplate and bookseller rubber-stamp to front paste down. Pages toned. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket with soiling, toning heaviest at spine and edges, edge wear with a closed tear to the bottom of the front spine fold. The author's first book, a semi-autobiographical narrative of his boyhood in Sligo, Ireland. Jack Butler Yeats was the brother of poet William Butler Yeats, and son of Irish portrait artist John Butler Yeats. Signed copies are scarce.
