London, Hodder and Stoughton, 1942, hardcover, 124 pp, First Edition, First Printing stated, Very Good in Fair dustjacket. Straight, tight and clean with no markings, top corner of front board and textblock edge darkened. Dustjacket unclipped bearing original price, large chip to front top corner, smaller chips to corners, edges and spine-ends, light rubs, light soil, in new Brodart sleeve. The British poet and author of seven books including The Desert (1912), The Potter (1918), Through Beds of Stone (1928), A Few People (1932), and The Gate of the Year (1940), best known for being quoted by King George VI in his Royal Christmas Message of 1939 presents here her final book of verse.
